THE FRIENDS OF ST MARY’S,
TOTNES

The objects were approved at an open meeting in Church on the 16th November 2008,Roger Hawkins was elected as Chair, Penny Johnson as Secratary and membership secretary, Anne Massey as Treasurer.

We are encouraged to hear of other churches who raise £20/30,000.00 p.a.

Our draft objects state :-

The Friends of St Mary's, Totnes, is established to support the maintenance, repair, preservation, beautification and improvement of the fabric of the Church and the monuments, fixtures, fittings, furniture, stained glass, ornaments and other chattels belonging to the Church.

To further any charitable purpose under the law of England and Wales as the trustees shall determine.

We have a stock of produce and ceramics ,  carol singers are singing for the Christmas latenight shopping evenings, and we shall serve coffee and mince pies in church.
